Our Story
The Florecita Bar was born from a simple observation: the happiest moments happen when people create together.
Founder Alexa Alvarado discovered her love for flowers later in life, through moments spent with her husband. When she became a mom, everything shifted. She wanted to build a business that didn't pull her away from her daughter and let her be present while showing her that dreams are worth chasing and that anything is possible when you set your mind to it. After years of attending events that felt forced or fell flat, Alexa realized what was missing: genuine connection through hands-on creativity. The Florecita Bar became a way to bring joy to others while building a life that balanced motherhood and entrepreneurship.
In 2022, Alexa launched The Florecita Bar to bring authentic joy to gatherings across Nashville. What started as a passion project quickly grew into something more: a movement to make events less about performance and more about presence, less about perfection and more about people.
In 2026, The Florecita Bar began blooming beyond Nashville. We launched our online Build Your Own Bouquet experience, bringing Florecita flowers to customers nationwide, and expanded our signature flower bar experience to Alexa's hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Meet Alexa
Alexa Alvarado founded The Florecita Bar to share the joy and cultural richness that flowers brought to her own life. Alexa quickly noticed that flowers had the power to bring smiles and joy to others. She combined her love of flowers with her passion for creating genuine human connection, and The Florecita Bar was born.
Today, The Florecita Bar brings interactive flower experiences to corporate teams, bridal parties, birthdays, and community gatherings in Nashville and Lancaster—with local Bloom Crews bringing the Florecita experience to each community.
Alexa’s first goal remains: make every person who touches The Florecita Bar flowers leave a little happier than they arrived.
Meet JAVELLE
Javelle brings the flower joy to Lancaster, PA. A wife, mama of five with three bonus kiddos, and longtime friend of Alexa, Javelle was looking for something she could pour her heart into outside of her big, beautiful family.
She found that in The Florecita Bar.
For Javelle, it’s about more than working with beautiful blooms and getting creative—it’s getting to watch people light up as they make something of their own. Being surrounded by flowers, creativity, connection, and so much joy makes every event feel special, and she couldn’t be more excited to bring that experience to the Lancaster community. ❤️
